Cool goby!

They move mountains of sand for the first few months searching for food. After that they learn that God (you) drops food out of the sky once a day and they all but give up on the sand sifting. Still they are a very cool and entertaining addition to any tank. The only issue I've ever had is my lawnmower blennies chasing them around

Mines starts to builds a mountain in front of his cave every evening when the moon lights come on, then he shoots thru the mountain & disappears for the night.

Btw: they are jumpers, can jump thru holes as small as egg crate. Mesh top will keep them from carpet surfing

I've noticed that they will only try to jump when tank lights go out along with all the lights in the room. I've actually watched the little guy (using flashlight with red bulb) bobbing up and down, looking for holes in the mesh top I have.

i cant keep mine in tank. I took lid off to help with air exchange and gases and stuff and they keep jumping out of the tank on me.

I see, I'm looking for something that will clean anything and everything

You fit that description perfectly. (As do I) :-)

Turns out they dont like the dark which I think is funny as for seeing how they burrow under a rock and usually stay there all night. I upped the amount of blues I run at night to see if this new one will stay in tank. He is a Tiger Gobby and cost me enough he better stay in.
