Turns out they dont like the dark which I think is funny as for seeing how they burrow under a rock and usually stay there all night. I upped the amount of blues I run at night to see if this new one will stay in tank. He is a Tiger Gobby and cost me enough he better stay in.

I ask because I recently bought hermit crabs and the just leave a bunch of waste. Didn't they think they we that dirty as well as good cleaners

I use a diamond to sift sand and a lawnmower bleny for algae. Between them and the cleaners my tank is fairly clean, so clean that I need to add seaweed pulp at times so they can eat.

Stopped by my lfs today and they had about a dozen diamond gobies the size of 6" hotdogs! I knew they reached that length but the thickness was unbelievable
