I went to look at my tank this morning and the water level in my DT was over top of my overflow! I haven’t changed anything since I’ve had the tank for over a year... it’s not draining as fast as was? Help pleAse

Is there a valve on your drain line? Possibly something restricting flow.

Any chance a snail got in there and is caught in drain line?? Do you have a variable Return pump?? Did it accidentally get turned up??

Wouldn’t think a snail would get stuck in there. Not even sure how to Check

Is your drain line cap/elbow glued?? I would try to push a little air pressure down that vent hole.....

Yah it’s usually like a 1/4 inch above the broken tooth

There could be an air pocket stuck in that horizontal portion of the drain line. Like swoody said, Try putting a quick air pressure through the vent hole in the durso cap to see if it helps. You also could turn off your return pump, let your sump fill, pull your drain out from the bulk head to inspect it

I don’t remember if it is glued I don’t think it is though! It’s very small. Can’t hardly get a hand in there. I blew in the air hole. I’ll give it a few see if that works. It’s very slow filling. Otherwise I’ll turn off return and try to remove the elbow

Elbow side and sump side clear? If so, I’d say you had an air pocket in the horizontal section.

Glad it's back and working!
While on the subject of the overflow, You will want to change that twist-tie if it is in contact with your tanks water. It would be best for your coral to keep rust out of the water.
