No because the current technology to measure salinity requires a device to actually come in contact with the machine! The water sits in a disk and does not touch the machine physically. It’s a photometer and works similar to a Hanna Checker so as of now the technology is not combinable.
Thank you for all your helpful info. I had been looking at this same tester because I hate testing, too, and would love having one test to do it all. My LFS uses this same tester, but they charge almost $11 per test so it will probably be beneficial in the long run to pick this up. Brian

Now I can start dosing my macroalgae tank whose parameters I wish were my reef tank.

$1200 i believe. The thing is, you still need to recalibrate it to ensure accuracy (the more often the better) and of course there's still a standard error so for me it's slightly too pricey...
That is the pool version! The aquaculture one is version 3587 and tests only 7 parameters.
Yes so this became the API AquaSpin marketed towards fish stores but LaMotte’s version 3587 is the aquaculture/fish farming one so it was originally branded for fish farming purposes and not reef tanks so that’s why. Again I have one reef tank I need to do a water change on, a macroalgae tank, and a soon to be 120 fowlr. They are the same product just different marketing. The API one is marketed towards hobbyists and fish stores and is a different size but uses the same technology and accuracy.
Yes and I’d hope people would do their own research as well. I certainly did and debated this product for a very long time.
