My first LiveAquaria Experience, went terrible.

i’m usually a chill kid, but when it comes to spending my hard earned money on dead stuff. not so chill, so for those of you that don’t know i’m 14 and come from a poor family so even keeping an aquarium is hard, just getting my crinoid i saved for about a year and that’s working out good for me. I decided to order from LiveAquaria and found some really nice inverts, welp here’s what i was sent

dead squat lobster and acropora crab and not only that it’s like they don’t know how to count

asked for 12 and got 4, wonderful i hope you can fix this @LiveAquaria

Did you try calling or emailing them? They generally have great customer service and are really good about sending replacements for stuff that have died in transit...I really hope you tried contacting them by phone or email before coming on here and posting this...

i emailed them when my order came at 10 AM, I had to go to school so i just got these pictures and left. Still haven't responded
 
Sorry to see this happen.Was shipping over nighted.Why is coral rubble in the bowl with crab and lobster?

they sent that with the crab and the lobster, I honestly think the poor things were crushed to death, yes it was Overnight Shipping.

Call them they will definitely make it right very easy going and will reship even if its only a crab (only one free reship per order)
Just be respectful and explain your situation
They have a 14 day guaranty so even if it died within the 14 days they would replace it
Let us know what happened
This time of year i realized is hard on shipments i always say to myself i won’t order anything but always do

No they will tell you to wait out the 14 days in case anything else dies, because they will only reship for free once

Other than that they also give refunds and credits you do have to request the refund though

i might take the refund, I just really wanted that Crinoid Squat Lobster to host my Crinoid. thanks for the help

They're only going to shop a second time free one time, so make sure you tell them everything you nerd replaced the first time so they can do it all at once. Make sense?

And BTW, it is very cool that you're into reefing at your age and working hard at it! I didn't start til I was 46!

That's what I thought. Maybe they hired new Holiday help.
maybe, I don't know TBH i'm just really ticked off. Hopefully if they replace my Squat Lobster and Crab they will survive and I can change this thread from negative to positive

No need to be ticked off..this stuff happens. Especially on a trip from Wisconsin to Florida. Liveaquaria will make it right with you, just be calm and patient.

You can do a partial refund and get a replacement for the lobster
Give them another chance but i feel you should wait until the holidays are over


So maybe get a full refund and after the holidays ask them to do a reship only on the lobster (they will do that you will have to pay for it the second time since you already got a refund)

well being me i kinda should be ticked off, My mom messaged me saying I won't be able to buy anything else for my aquarium thats alive ;Sorry i'll either have to get a job or just not add anything new till i move out
 
OOPS I nearly forgot, this is my second Live Aquaria order sorry about that my first was a Mimic Filefish names Charles! I got him from DD and he was fine. I'll post a picture
