Yeah, going to start measuring tomorrow. I'm getting mixed feedback on my aquascaping, but I've provided 4-5 caves, a few of them connect on the back wall of the tank.

Aquascaping is completely subjective. If it looks good to you leave it. It looks like the fish will have tons of hiding places and cover as well as a good amount of swimming room. Just one thing I would consider is making a but more shaded area for when you have corals that need to be shaded, but even that doesn't have to be done.

Ok, I'll look into trying to provide some shade, i guess i could get a couple more large flatish rocks for the top?

Yeah something like that. I would put one or two in there. One about half way up the rock work and the other a little higher.

did some re-arraning, i made a couple more caves, and tried to provide some shade, but i don't think, the LR I have is very well suited to making shady areas, I have almost zero flat rocks lol.

I think the scape looks great. I went with more of a minimal island style this time around myself. Just a matter of what looks good to you. I like all of the caves and holes you have created. Your fish are going to love it.

Took the first measurements tonight. I'm using CaribSea live sand to cycle the tank, but so far... looks like a whole lot of nothing?

Anyone interpret this as something happening?

Perfect!

in a few days to two weeks you will start to see an increase in ammonia.

I would start feeding the tank a little bit of fish food every day. Just use the cheap stuff.

Received and installed my 4 inch filter sock today. It is quite a tight fit in there with the skimmer and changing slash cleaning the stock won't be all that easy. But at least for right now I would like to catch a lot of the big stuff instead of sending it through the skimmer.
