Moved to current forum: Member Tanks.

I figure this is a better spot for your thread. :)

Here are some more little corals, a mushroom, a gimiopora, and a cabbage? I think?

Looking good. What do you think of the tank as I'm thinking of getting one? Any new pics?

Thanks.

Hello and welcome to R2R! you should post some pics of the filtration and fill us in on how its setup.

Hi guys, yeah the tank is brilliant, I couldn't be happier. Got a pair of common clowns, who love the tank. Just having a bit of a nightmare with hair algae at the moment, but as it's only 5 weeks old, I think I have to grin and bare it.

They look cool. I'm gonna put my order in for one of these next week, can't wait. The place in buying it from days to add 20kg of live rock, yours is a little less so is 20kg too much? They also recommended TMC seasalt, what did you use? Also some people say about upgrading the wave circulator, what you think of it? Sorry for all the questions haha. Thanks.

the hair algae keep that under check.....that can become a nuisance.....your tank looks good tho..id like to know what that is in your tank....those things growing like an aloe vera plant...never seen those before..........

Hi the robbo, I did a lot of research and found that most people recommend 1kg per 10 liters, and it's 135 liters so I went a little over at 15, which I think is perfect for this size, I have found another guy who put a few extra broken up kgs in the back middle compartment. You can always add more. I use pre mixed saltwater from my lfs at the moment just to be on the safe side, they use Red Sea max sea salt. The power head is brilliant, so much so that the guru in my fish shop changed the ones in his tank to the same ones that come with the fluval sea setup! Can't have a better recommendation than that!

Hi pam0630, what is the best way to control the algae? I feel like it's taking over! Lol, at the moment my clean up crew is 4 hermits and 4 turbos and a cleaner shrimp, do you think I need more?
That green aloe type stuff is insane! I have no idea what it is either? I have polyps and feather dusters and coralline algae that came on the live rock.

I had several aptasia growing on my rock. I ordered some joes juice , followed the instructions , and it killed them instantly an they have not came back , as of six weeks ago. This stuff works.

Hi there tank looks ace :) im looking at g3tting this tank, what's ya opinion and would you recommend it
