My fish are dead

Maybe they were sick, maybe they weren’t. Why would all 3 die at the same time

Thanks but I don’t know why the fish are dead, coral are good, and parameters are fine

Well since you've ruled out water quality or disease being the cause, I'm chalking it up to mass suicide.

I'd check your floss or socks for cups and kool-aid packets.

Swings in a tank this size can cause a great impact quickly. Lack of oxygen, heat swing up or down, salinity spike either way, stray electrical in tank, chemicals in tank, soap or house hold. One failure can cause a cascade. I think a heat swing or lack of circulation and or a drop in oxygen can cause stress and then death.

I would avoid the tang and use a cuc to keep your tank clean.
size matters. success comes easier with the the right size tank and tools to keep a successful aquarium.
Make sure you have just 1 or 2 fish like some clowns.
Get the equipment you need.
Read R2R see what others do.

13 pages in 7 hrs... Is that a record? I read all 12 pages... I don't know why but I did, lol. Reminds me of conversations I have with my 16 yr old son. So... I'll just do what I do with him, stay quiet and let him figure it out. Sorry for not helping but I just wanted to post in a record setting thread, lol

Scrub rocks, water change, glass clean, clean filter
First off, very sorry you lost all of your fish, that’s a tough thing to go through.

Was this the order that you did these in? Is it possible your hands were contaminated with the glass cleaner when you cleaned your filter?

Was the stuff you scrubbed off of your rocks brown, slimy, mucous looking stuff? The reason I ask is since you did it in the tank there’s a possibility (very slim) that they might have been a toxic form of dinoflagellates. How long after you did your cleaning did you find the fish dead? Next morning?

There was hair algae and what looked like Cyano

I cleaned the glass after everything else

Sounds like it was most likely oxygen depletion overnight too me. From everything you’ve described. I hope you have better luck in the future :)

with minor information this could have been a 2 page thread. instead Its turned into a 13 page disaster that reminds me of what it's like to text with a child. I love it lol
