my fish are gonna die

min tank size for a flame is 30 I read so he should be good.

Do not do garlic soak daily, to much garlic is worse than none. It can compromise the fishes immune system, cause internal damage to the digestive system, and diminish water quality. A little goes a long way.

Edit: keep in mind that the fish that are to large will remain stressed and will be at risk for a breakout again in the future. After they look better you might want to consider an upgrade or rehousing some of the "larger" fish. This will benefit your wallet, your tank, your piece of mind, and the fish.

He should be good as long as there aren't too many fish in there. The two tangs need to go. Also, the tank size recs are only guidelines. They're not hard and fast rules. The tangs def need to go though. If I weren't moving soon, I would take the kole.

kole died 5 days ago, flame angel not eating as of yesterday, blue who looked the worse out of the 3 is acting normal (just scratching alot) eating well and getting better. all other fish no issues that I can see.

sorry to hear. is it possible for you to hook up a UV to your tank? might help. 15w and pump it with a small (low gph) pump like a eheim compact 300. It can kill off some of the free flowing parasites so you fish can fight them off easier.

I am sorry too, I had a uv light in the past but sold it a while back to make room for a bigger better skimmer, I regret that cause I never had ich issues ever when I ran one.

update. so I lost 3 fish total, the flame the kole and a cardinalfish. the blue tang is doing great, I am in the process of trying to find a bigger home for him.

I know this is a poor attempt at a joke. Naso = 18", 55 gal = 11 1/2". Well, the math don't add up.

you two are smert, it was a joke, I wouldn't go as far as saying poor attempt, I believe a hey man good thinking moving the blue into a better home.
but i know how tang police roll, light you up when you do bad, ignore when you do good.

I never considered myself a member of the tang police; but, I guess, if the shoe fits. I'm sorry that you perceive me that way.

I will give you points for keeping the fish alive until you find it a new home.

I have made plenty of mistakes myself and am in no way judging you, but rather trying to help.

Same as the normal police, really.
