Thanks. I've been really impressed with the new IM tanks too, my first AIO. In the past, I had a 75g mixed reef, a 20g long and a 30g. I always loved the 20 long and the Fusion 20 is just that much better. They thought of almost everything with these tanks.

You keep all that with the stock lighting? That's pretty impressive! I have one of the older model skyye lights that came with the nuvo 16gal and it cant grow much of anything, they must have improved them a good bit. Tanks looking awesome!

Thank you. I'm really happy the progress. The lighting is much improved over the old, I have great polyp extension on all the SPS and noticeable growth on everything. You can't really tell in the photos from my phone but the dual stock 18 watt lights ( 36 watts total) are really bright and have great shimmer. My one complaint, I would like to be able to run the blue separately for lunar lights. I just added some supplemental moon lights on a separate timer. I'm still considering a Kessil but I'll wait a few more months to see if there's any real reason to switch, everything seems happy so far...

How do you like the ghost skimmer? Does it work well? Is it actually super quiet?

I'm honestly not that impressed. It looks cool, it does produce skim. It's definitely not a "ghost", IMO it's loud, especially for it's size. I think they use a cheap pump on it. I've taken it apart, cleaned it etc and it's still loud. The only time it's remotely quiet is when the venturi is almost completely closed which in turn, fails to produce good skim. Oh, I forgot to mention the micro bubbles, even two months after install it still produces micro bubbles, some days are worse than others. I'm in the process of planning a 10G sump/fuge with a Reef Octopus BH50.

Good to know. Thanks for the honest feedback. I'll keep my little cheap one for now and save the money :)

I ended up getting one and overall it does a decent job. I agree its loud with the airvlave open more than 10%.. if i plug the holes on the lid with my finger in quiets right down.. given that it has the overflow on the side ..does it really need the top vents? i'm debating putting tape over them to make it quieter and see what happens.

Very nice! I'm getting my 20 gal IM nano Fusion on Monday.

Question: how are you keeping the water level where it shoild be each day; my main concern.
Thank you for the pictures.

I have an auto top off. But it's in the second chamber that waterfalls over so it stays consistent. Only the middle chamber really drops (if you don't have an ATO)

Very Impressed with this tank I've got the 10g IM and they are great nano tanks, surprised the skimmer is so poor Ive heard great things from it

I have the 24 and there is a media basket on each side and I added a fuge basket as well

Will I be able to place the auto top off sensor on the back of the aquarium. Thinking about using this system but it look like it need to attach to clear glass.
If the water never drops in the main tank it would not do me any good to place it on the glass on either side of the tank , correct.

if the back of the tank is painted black?; could I just scrape off the paint and attach it there? if it's just black plastic, I guess I won't be able to do that.

i really want to get this right this time.

AutoAqua Smart ATO - Automatic Top Off System

if this won't work, what other AIO could I use?

Thank you

Sorry I haven't responded recently, life is busy. I have the Tunze Osmolator nano in the middle compartment in the back, works really fantastic, it attaches with a strong magnet. No issues attaching at all. The back is black. There are 2 media baskets, I use the upgraded ones from InTank. I have one of the second chambers set up as a small refugium with live rock rubble and chaetomorpha algae. I use a $12 submersible pond light from Amazon to light it. My next mod is the Jebao dosing pump, I'll let you know when it's set up, I cleared out all of the soft corals and have added more SPS. I'm picking up two AI primes today too! Can't wait to get them on the tank.

did you just toss the rock and algae into the second chamber area and drop the light in? I have one AI Prime on my IM 20 and it seems to be plenty FYI. Also my Ghost skimmer will only produce bubbles not and skimm.
