Yeah the texture on cap is one of my favorite things about them. Has some really nice color cant wait to see what she does:)

You still have the capability to connect it to a smart device. I can control the plugs via the app or via a "smart device". My family knows I'm working on the tank when they hear me yelling to turn something on/off. "BLUE LIGHTS OFF!" "LAGOON OFF!" "F***ING ATO OFF!" LOL. Their great plugs for the price especially when you compare it to the Neptune.

If you like to tinker, you should look into Reefpi as an alternative to a Neptune, I bought a small raspberry pi (CPU/controller), loaded reefpi (software) and coupled with the smart plug it's basically a discounted Neptune. Maybe not as user-friendly initially but I'm able to control and get alerts for most things. There are few threads on here that talk about it.

It does alot more apparently I can set the outlets on different power usage modes depending on time of day or night. Maybe less intensity of lights or pumps? Idk I gotta dig in!

I think with this and the Reefpi you could do whatever was needed.

On a real note ill be bugging you guys soon so you can school me how all this fancy automated stuff works lol

LOL, I was running through your post looking at the frag tank setup to try and figure out how to finish the setup in my fishroom BEFORE I start setting up so I dont have to make as many changes later:p Between you, @fishguy242 and @MERKEY I figure I can get all the info I need and be Splammin pics by the end of the year maybe;)

For sure. @fishguy242 table will be alot more efficient. Straight edges for bulk heads, smooth surfaces better for algae, deeper and alot less moving parts to have to fine tune.
I've almost got my wife convinced I need better tables. To me thats the green light I needed lol.
In all realness. I'm going with deepest table I can find. Big sump, ton of return, twice as much overflows to keep more natural movement through the tables with efficient top skimming.
With so many shrooms on one system they do chemical fights with each other.
Can't figure out the culprit but when I do I'm moving it lol.
Every once in awhile my skimmer will bubble and fill real heavy. Its gotta be something they are doing. Which is also why I moved the big skimmer to shroom garden sump.
Its gotta be that though everything else has been pretty dialed and stabile for a long time now.
