My new 110

That's my thinking, I don't want to have to buy bulbs all the time and deal with the heat. Was your's a DIY LED build?

Ok, my skimmer looks like it's not skimming. Should it not be producing foam?

somethings blocking the air looks like.u probly need to clean the air intake hot ro/di should work pulled through air tube.

or if this is the first time ur fireing it up then u might be missing the air tube or it might be submerged in water? or if it has a dial which it looks like it does from pic u might have it closed all the way and need to open it up.

Is there an airline tube that is connected to the pump? Then it should come up and connect to what kind of looks like a film canister with 2 nipples.

Ok, right now I am loosing about a gal and a half a day to evaporation, is that normal?

Yes, my 110 with MH's loses about the same amount.

Also some of my zoa's are not opening after the move from my biocube to the 110.

Give them a couple days, zoas are hardy corals but in my experiences can be finicky.

With loosing a gal and a half a day of water how does it do on the salinity? Is there a big swing or is this nothing to worry about just keep adding the water or is there a way to keep the water loss down?

If you're replacing that gallon and a half periodically through the day with fresh water, it should have little effect on the salinity. Do you have an ATO?

Well 1g is about 100th of ur volume so it probly wouldn't have much if any effect on salinity or temp. But can always chk it before and after to see. But as bob said an ATO(auto top off) unit will keep it steady.
