Been working on this on and off for the past 10 months or so(procrastinator) and finally did a water test just the other day.

-Display setup includes.....
-Ati sunpower 4bulb fixture for lighting.
-Mp 10 as well as a quiet one 2200 return and maybe an additional korillia for flow.
-Tank is an aqeon 40br drilled with a 700gph glass holes overflow(Little bit noisier than I would like).
-Stand is homemade by myself:) Still have to install doors but not sure which way to go at the moment.
-Most everything will be controlled by an ac jr controller.

Sump/frag tank...
-Tank is a 30 breeder that was previously drilled and cracked, bought it for $20 and carefully siliconed a piece of glass over the crack. The dividing glass in the sump helps to reinforce the tank and seperates the skimmer section from the frag tank section.
-Octopus 1000int cone skimmer
-2 (24in) bulb retro fixture with an ati b+ and ab special bulbs
-ebo jager heater
-undecided as to powerheads for the frag section but have a bunch of maxi jets to work with...
-Blue glow frag rack system that I won on here a while back. Very well made rack.
-I plan on using a brs gfo reactor but still thinking about where I want to put it.
-Will be dosing kalk and also 2 part by way of brs dosing pumps.

So far my fish list is 1-clown, 1-cherub angel, 1-six line wrasse, 1 starry or algae blenny, and prolly a couple more small fish.

Corals will be mostly sps/lps with a couple of softies and several types of zoas/palys.

Will try and post more pics when the rockwork is done and the tank is up and running....

Very nice man! When will she be up and running?

Thanks! I need to acid bath some old and new rock, see how I want it set up, and then drill and rod it for stability. I also will be re-doing the plumbing to try and reduce noise. Hopefully it will have saltwater in it within 2 weeks or less depending on my work schedule and my procrastination level;)

This is close to what my aquascape is going to look like. Just have to drill a few more pieces add a little bit of super glue and do some other touch up.

Looking good bro, i love the different style of your rock scape! When will this baby get wet?
Gonna be about a week. Want to let the rock completely dry out since I bleached and acid washed it. I did soak it in ro/di water 2x's and then added dechlorinator before I drilled and aquascaped everything. Thanks for the comments:)

Started making the ro/di water this morning... just need another 30 gallons or so:) Should all be saltwater by the end of the day tomorrow.

Good start. I like the light mount. It's clean.

Thanks. Had a heck of a time figuring out how I was going to hang it and not having the studs in the ceiling quite lining up with where I wanted to place the tank. I did most of the work on hanging the light(drilling into the ceiling etc) around midnight.... our fishroom is right below our bedroom.... wife wasn't too happy with me;)

I'll following along.

I too have a 40 breeder, but a ATI 6x39. I hope I don't bleach my lps and sorties with the lights.

Your sump honestly looks exactly like the one I planned to do for my 40g breeder. What a relief I thought I was crazy because Ive never seen anyone else really do it. Great looking tank!
