Changed to Comcast Internet to get better speed than what ATT was giving me and not even all the time ... 6 Mbps ...
This is what I now get ... check those speeds and that is at 6:30 pm ... With ATT the DL speed was around 5.6 Mbps and the upload was like 438 K

Really?! I have comcast and it sucks!! We had about 2 weeks of our service turning on and off so fast we couldn't even call out from the home phone...now it works but when i watch Hulu it lags really bad. We don't have many options here so we are stuck lol.
Well that is odd as I get those high download and upload speeds just about anytime I run a speed test. I did sign up for the 50 Mbps but I seem to be getting more than that most of the time. The POP where they hooked me up is actually at the end of my driveway to the left next to a tree on my neighbors property ... not sure whether the fact that the POP is that close has anything to do with it but I have not had any issues with the Net or with Cable ... (touch wood) ...
Run speediest.net on your PC and see what you get ... oh and by the way ... I am picking up the signal via Wi-Fi ... as the Modem is in another room ...
Yeah we have a 2 channel wifi for mobile devices and the iMac. Even when hard wired its crap. I'll check that out for sure and see what it says. It will probably show a silhouette of a snail!

I would call them for sure to see why you are having so many issues ... and a slow speed ...
They say its fast speed! Techs come by and say its all fine to them. Its faster than dial up...kinda
Wow that is bad ... when you run that speed test what numbers do you get ... Is Satellite available in your area ? Might cost more but you'll get a lot more speed IMO

No, but really it is like this for all of us in town. Satellite is insanely expensive an the wind always knocks em out of position anyways. Plus I don't think having signal loss when it storms is very good service, especially when there's nothing to do but sit inside all day watching the lighting hit the neighbors yard constantly.
Just about every month I get some type of discount for the issue, but it is still a pain. I am guessing its the wires. We get massive storms here so the street lights and phone poles are always leaning for a couple days at a time between repairs.

Oh I had to move all my corals onto the rock because I got an orange slipper coral. Once he finds a permanent spot I can move stuff back to the sand. Just don't want him stinging stuff. He swallowed a hermit crab already
Here is the sump.
Drain side: has drain line routed to it with a place for a filter sock I I ever decide I want one. The probes and heaters are rammed into the baffles and zip tied in place.
Main section: skimmer and rock
Return section: return pump and a place for media bags along with the ATO. The return is split to shoot back to the drain section as well to keep it stirred as you can see from pic 1.
I like it fast, the pump is 1700gph
No sponges or bioballs. If I want a sponge it can go in a baffle.

However...the rock looks amazing!
And so does one of the toughest corals to keep in the hobby, my green goniopora that is thriving!!

Still much work on the room left to do. I have a 75 I am building for more frags and I have a sump project to build
Thanks for all the updates and all the pics .... and yes it looks like there is some more work indeed ... and agreed looks like the diatoms are gone or nearly gone. Wonder why that small patch of Cyanos suddenly re-appeared.

Wow tha looks great indeed .... !!!
That coral there is my pride and joy. People seem to have easier times with training turtles than keeping these alive lol. I even rescued it from a gorilla crab when I first bought it.
Speakin of...look what I found on a Monti!
He's been in a tote outside on the deck for a good week now!! Darn xanthid crabs. I got him off the Monti before it ever touched my water. Its illegal to pickup hitch hikers here since we have a prison nearby hehe
