Hey everyone after all this research and writing my first draft up today for my biofilm production experiment I think it's only fair to give a name to the little guy who first got me excited about the whole Echinoderm variety of species. He's a six armed Fromia indica who seems to be doing well and loves roaming around his 10 gallon tank!
I need some name suggestions from you guys to help out! Here he is...he's eating in the last picture.

I think I may have to suggest Armando Armstrong but the first name well it's a bit Spanish in origin unlike one's starfish who is from more of an Indian region if I remember correctly.

Wow thanks for all the creativity guys!...btw, I thought fir sure I was going to get at least a few of those total downers who are constantly preaching that Fromias are doomed to starve to death which is something I disagree with btw

I think it's possible to keep any creature happy and healthy as long as we're able to provide what they need to thrive. It sounds like you've been researching this extensively. Let's face it at one time people thought it was impossible to keep saltwater tanks in general. It's folks like you that help contribute to and advance the hobby. :-) I look forward to seeing how this turns out! :-)

I really appreciate you saying that! I've been reviewing and studying everything piece of information I can find for countless hours and don't plan on stopping anytime soon!

I intend to follow your research very closely; I am <very> interested in having a Fromia at some point.
They're amazing creatures! Not to mention highly complex as well... believe me, I'm taking my research seriously and I'm glad there are others like yourself who see value in what I'm working towards!
