My SPS are dying, no clue why!

Thank you for sharing your experience, it does sound a lot like mine and kind of reassures me I just need to wait for the tank to catch back up after adding the new rock.

Everything else in your tanks seems to check out...I wouldn't change anything but just let the tank mature. Start with the "easy" canary sps. For me a mini colony of Cali Torte was my canary.

Thank you for the advice! Sounds like a solid plan and something I can definitely try, I’ve had my suspicions using fritz, the tank was started with it so I just continued using it. I’ve used only Red Sea blue bucket in the past, can you recommend a Salt?
Red Sea is nice and sends a ICP with each batch number i have had geat success with this in tanks

currently I use tropic Marin pro reef because of lots of good reviews for storage I run daily water changes so I let it sit for up to 2 weeks before use

Is anyone able to tell if this is AEFW damage? I should have taken the pics or looked with my light before I blew them off with a turkey baster, but the pics were taken after sadly.

I know I did see some vermetids, but not enough to make me think they are killing my acros

Have you taking one out and dipped it? Check the base for eggs?
No, I thought maybe I’d be able to see it eggs from the glass. Full disclosure I haven’t been dipping so I don’t have any dip. I will have to wait till I get some to pull one out

As I saw the last batch of photos my heart sank as those bite marks were tell tale of AEFW.

I hope you can nip them in the bud. They’re a bear to deal with and the reason I am not planning on any SPS in my new 40G. Such a tough battle!

Does anyone have an article or plan I can follow for eradication? I mean.. I can google...just wondering
