Have all your tanks been setup for awhile? @omykiss001's theory about older tanks having better nutrient export and that, in turn, keeps ich within manageable levels is interesting: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/ich-eradication-vs-ich-management.188775/page-4#post-2662497

Especially when you consider most of those who ask for help in the fish disease forum are noobs with very new setups. Of course, you could also say they just aren't experienced enough to manage their tank, and ich, properly.
Yes and I was out the last 10 but because of divorce appt Now good wife nice home and back for 1 yr lol

And I totally agree with you

I've heard of med that comes from no sick fish.com that has good reviews and suppose to work well in the dt also.

I would treat in a QT with cupramine for 4+ weeks and keep the tank fishless so the ich can die off. Otherwise if you reintroduce the fish, if they stress, they'll just get it back. You can try the garlic/selcon myth of building up its immunity, but any stress is going to just bring it right back. Sometimes that work and you don't need to go through more work of QTing etc. I prefer to QT.

Tangs and copper don't mix well, try malachite green or clout if you need to nuke the ich

I do hypo and ttm when I have issues with ich

Paraguard works well too

As said above you'll need to pull the fish out and leave your tank fish less for a minimum of 72 days

You could also wait it out and see if your tangs pull through

None of these effectively treats SW ich (Cryptocaryon irritans). Perhaps they work on FW ich (Ichthyophthirius multifiliis), as even salt and elevated temperature seems to be capable of eradicating that.

As far as tangs & copper not mixing well together, I'll refer you to this thread: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/cupramine-and-angels-my-log.200465/

@4FordFamily has more experience than I using copper at this point in time.

Yes, it is news to me that tangs struggle with copper. Ive never had any issues with tangs and copper.

As you can see in that thread I've treated many. Since I created that thread I've treated perhaps another ten for friend hobbyists (I do them in batches) without any trouble.
