Hi my name is Kody and I’ve been in the hobby for almost two years now. I have a 40 gallon tank that is overgrown with Xenia. I also have an assortment of mushrooms and some frog spawn. I have three fish a bonded pair of Gladiator clowns that are absolutely gorgeous and a juvenile dragon wrasse. I’m eager to breed my clowns and raise their fry. I also want to get into fraging coral. I’m excited to learn and grow with this community and would love if experienced breeders and people who frag reached out with tips.

Welcome Kody, glad that you are here.

as basic as it may sound, you have a tank full Xenia, and a stated request to learn to frag, so here you are with the best tool you could ask for, practice fragging Xenia (I give them to my LFS).
As to Breeding your clowns, you are on your own... (smile)

Hi Kody and Welcome! Glad you joined.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

Healthy Xenia is pretty tough stuff. Where it's growing and you don't want it to be there, you can scrape it off and let it rest/heal and if you have something under it during that process it will reattach. You can see if your LFS will take and may give store credit. You can also reach to local hobby club(s), etc and see if you have a market there. Larger frags of Xenia likely get more attention/interest since this is a hardier coral

My clownfish lay eggs about every 10-14 days. I credit quality and variety of foods with this success. I think how pregnant women take vitamins, so I add in live blackworms and live pods as well.

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
