My water is really cloudy??

It could have been your GFO. Do you tuble yours? I tumble mine and last week after messing with the carbon I had GFO fines all over the tank and the water was very cloudy. The GFO rubs against itself and grinds into a dust making the water cloudy. The good news is that it won't hurt anything. No real bad news. My skimmer was much more red/orange than normal and carbon gets really gummed up. It also looks like a small diatom bloom on the sand if enough settles.

Why yes my GFO does tumble. It very well could have been the case. My carbon did get really gummed up after 2 days after I changed it. But Like I said all is back to good now! Thanks for the insight.
