I been playing with my Nyos 160. How high is your water line to bubbles? Do you have any pointers it would be appreciated it’s my first skimmer

I have mine set so the bubble/water line is just above were the cup joins the body and I skim a little on the wet side.

I fiddled with it for ages, put it on stand, took it back off, ...
If you take the cup off and get it so it just froths over, not to quickly and then put the cup back on you will have a good starting point!

I switched the skimmer back on yesterday for a reason, the engineer goby is fit as a flea!
The 4 inch plus yellow wrasse is sand diving as well, last tests by lfs were 60 nitrates and .25 phos, the caulerpa is doing great but it does need a hand!

Lens to glass at high lights, missing about a third of the tank, bit hazy!

Yes, exactly, it is my backup device, the tank needs a helping hand!
If I felt I needed to do a water change I would do a water change, no rush!
