Naso in QT with this spot on its side, I have seen some fins flicking and shaking, but no scratching etc. It is in Copper Power at 2.0 strength. Eating and acting fine.

Any suggestions? And can I treat while in copper? (Bad photo, but towards back fin)

Its a bacterial rash persay that seems to affect Naso and Powder brown tangs more commonly.
Assure youre providing good water quality, and diet.
Treatment in Quarantine will be Seachem Neoplex but you can also use Ruby rally Pro but will take a little longer to act with this

ok to use Neoplex with copper?

They are already in copper. I started when I got them because I saw some flashing and signs of parasites.
Got it
Flashing can be signs of flukes

thanks Prazi will be next step for sure. Can I use the Neoplex while they are in copper, or should I wait until copper is done?
You can but I prefer not to mix medications

Better photo, I got some Neoplex and plan to start using that. Is this contagious to other fish?

I added the Neoplex on Friday and the fish definitely looks better, the spot on the side is fading. However, I noticed the bottom fin has some deterioration and some loose “skin or film” hanging off. Could this just be the bacterial infection running it’s course and healing or something else?

Would this show up in a new picture?

I'm really "down" on blonde nasos right now - we are seeing a high number of issues with them showing odd skin issues that are difficult to control. I don't know if this uptick is because of seasonal availability of the fish (making them more common, and thus their problems more common), or if there is suddenly some new disease problem with them, but there is a definite trend here.

May be it’s protective slime coat
What is your ammonia and nitrate level?

How did its anal fin get all shredded like that? What other fish are in with it? Are you seeing any aggression?

Ouch on the heavy bacteria. Qurantine tank treated with seachem kanaplex will be needed
