Need a fish suggestion pls!

Thanks. I've decided to keep my screen top...

If there's more options now pls lmk!

Cow fish out, midas blenny in !

I guess another angel is a no no right they'll fight to death.

Definitely avoid another angel, your coral beauty is well established and it will fiercely defend it's turf from another angel. My Coral Beauty that I have in my 90 gallon is a well behaved fish, but I did put a mirror on the side of a tank to help deal with an aggressive Yellow Tang and here is how my Coral Beauty responded:

Do you have an open tank? Just curious as to why you don't want any wrasses as a tank without wrasses is just incomplete IMHO. :D

I had a coris wrasse it jumped as i removed my lid to allow light to penetrate the sides.
The half inch blockage of light due to the window screen diy cover was affecting my corals(i have corals in every nook and corner )

So I'm thinking about just covering DT with 1 big brs white nylon screen with magnets to secure to dt.

Unless i can figure out a frame border that's extremely thin.

Where are your lights positioned? I can't imagine significant shading from a window frame mesh top. There is an alternative however if you're willing to loose the jack for it.

Acrylic lids from Matt at Octo Aquatics. Very good workmenship, blocks no light and looks really good.

If y0u keep your lid (which I would for even the fish you have already), you could go with any of the colorful wrasse....Flames are hard to beat. Lineatus may be even more beautiful, just not as flashy.

I agree with the post above, just because a fish isn't prone to jumping doesn't mean it won't and IMHO an open top tank just isn't worth it for that reason alone. All fish are jumpers, some are just more prone to it than others.

I run MH....i have corals in diy trays along the rim that's why.

I'm about to get red fire fish and purple fire fish, each 1 pair. Will it be ok after i put the screen top and removed the angel?

Thx guys

In a 75g the purple firefish will eventually eliminate the others.

Lyretail hog is safe with corals, will go after shrimp, may go after hermits.

Possibly a fox face? They are a great center piece for a tank when friends or family come over. Very unique fish. It's gets to nice big size which is generally considered perfect for a 75 gallon tank.

Generally reef safe as long as you feed well and extremely peaceful too.

Yes, ich is a major problem for them. No matter where I get them from, they always get ich and I always do a 6 week QT with copper. They generally don’t respond well to the copper so it is basically a hit or miss. I have had issues with toxins, espixalky in the 90 gallon smaller 4 ft tank. I haven’t seen any indications of toxins in my current tank, but generally I see smaller fish dying and corals retracting. I always run a large amount of carbon, 40 oz a month, I change it out every month.
Mine wouldn’t eat anything except brine or red seaweed for about 2 months, and I have slowly gotten him to eat pellets and other foods. His favorite pellets are SA hatchery blend. I feed it as a treat because it isn’t cheap!
I've got one in a 6ft tank. He's about 6" long and doesn't seem to be growing very much. He will eat ANYTHING I throw in there. He follows me around like a puppy waiting for food. He'll eat frozen cubes of any variety, flakes, pellets. He'll even snag away some gulf shrimp or take bites out of silversides when I'm feeding my wolf eel. I have some "semi-aggressive" fish in there, but he doesn't seem bothered by them at all and they pretty well leave each other alone as long as they're well fed. He's probably my favorite fish personality wise.

Hands down...Midas Blenny! Our favorite fish, great personality, and very unique swimming style, beautiful blue eyes! The African variety has less yellow to them than the more common yellow variety and instead has more orange/peach tones.

Got that exact midas blenny, love it!

Thx...

Added 3 fire fish, so far no fighting.

What are the best pipe fish varieties?
Heard dragon is the best. How about banded, striped, spotted etc? Already had blue striped.

How about shrimpfish and seamoth?

Thanks!

Glad to hear the Midas Blenny is working out. I currently have an exquisite purple firefish going through quarantine right now. I didn't venture out to risk multiple ones just in case they would start fighting. As for the pipe fish and others, I'm not familiar with them enough to give advice! They are nice looking fish, though.

Bump for my question!....
