I got a fluval evo 13.5 with dry rock and dry sand. I have decided to start cycling with the turbo fritz 900 but i dont know which ammonia source i have to use (dead shrimp or ammonia chloride from dr tim) and how long do i need to dose these.

Welcome. Any source will get the job done. I like a totally natural approach.

Welcome to Reef2Reef!!! I have taken both options - I prefer to add ammonia because I have more control over how much I am adding. Good luck with whichever option you choose!

Welcome to R2R. With fritz turbo id grab a cpl small hermits and feed them a cpl small mysis a few times a day for a cpl days you should be good to go if your only stocking a cpl small fish to start with.:)
