When I tried to calibrate my ph it was not calibrating on 10pH solution so I unplugged the probe and was getting that same ph reading you’re seeing on the picture. So I unplugged the apex controller to see if that was the issue re plugged it and was still getting that same reading even with the pH probe unplugged I also cannot add the orp to the display with pH2 on display it automatically kicks out the orp

Does the pH meter calibrate to the pH 4 solution? Are you sure you have the correct probe in the correct spot? your post is a little unclear. What was your pH reading before you did tried the calibration? What exactly happened to make you think it 'failed'.

Yes it’s in the right spot. And it was in the low 7’s couple days ago and just got my calibration solutions yesterday only got the. 7 and 10

Idk I was working out of town and I knew I need to calibrated it because it was way off and 2 days ago it just stay at a constant 6.74

What are the exact problems you're having with calibration. What procedure did you follow?

PS - it may also be the case that your solution is contaminated/incorrect - and you may need a new packet.

This is what I’m talking about ph probe is unplugged but apex fusion is still giving out readings

Unfortunately - I cannot see the movie - if you post it to YouTube - it will work

It just keeps saying this
Geo - Slow down and write coherently, brother. It’s hard for anyone to help you when you’re panic-typing and not even using basic punctuation.

I think you’ve either got bad calibration fluid, or possibly a bad probe. I’ve had both happen to me in the past, both with official Neptune probes and solution packets. It’s not unheard of. I would disconnect the pH probe, blow on the port, and secure it again. Try one more time after reconnecting. See if it works. If it doesn’t, my next step would be to order some cheap PinPoint brand pH solution packets. Try those in lieu of Neptune brand. If the new packets don’t work, then unfortunately your probe is problematic.

Is this a new apex? I’m betting probe is bad. Apex probes notoriously bad. I’m on my third and still got a back up meter because will go bad again. Hence why not working on the 10 solution

Ya that what I’m thinking it is but it does work on the 7 solution idk why it won’t read the 10

Also, stupid question, but I have done this myself and I do see you do have two on your dashboard.... Are you running the calibration on the right probe? I almost cooked my tank before because I had my if/then programmed on the wrong temp probe, so I could see how that could happen.

How old is the probe? I haven't seen it asked yet? Did you try to 'clean' it lately? The bulb on the end of the double junction probes can't take a beating at all...

My money is on a bunk ph probe. I use the pinpoint brand of double junction probes, reasonable price and availability. Also have you tried calibrating on the other ph probe connection on the head unit?

Ive had good luck with the milwaulkee probes on amazon, if it turns out your probe is bad and you want to save a few bucks and get it in 24 hours.
This one?
