Need apex help!

Also, stupid question, but I have done this myself and I do see you do have two on your dashboard.... Are you running the calibration on the right probe? I almost cooked my tank before because I had my if/then programmed on the wrong temp probe, so I could see how that could happen
I’ve done a water change and calibrated my salinity probe and and retried calibrating my ph probe but it’s still not working. Will the Milwaukee ph probe you recommend work with apex? And how long have you used it for before having to replace it?

How old is the probe? I haven't seen it asked yet? Did you try to 'clean' it lately? The bulb on the end of the double junction probes can't take a beating at all...

My money is on a bunk ph probe. I use the pinpoint brand of double junction probes, reasonable price and availability. Also have you tried calibrating on the other ph probe connection on the head unit?
I got a pretty good deal with a buddy of mine that was getting out of the hobby so I’m new to apex. I didn’t know that the probes would have to be replaced. He only had for 3 months said he couldn’t figure it out. Gave me an apex dossier, controller, fusion and about 50 pounds of rock for 450

I don't recommend using the automatic calibration procedure. Go to Advanced and then hit manual calibration. Make sure your pH solutions are at aquarium temperature. Start the calibration, put the probe in the 7 and swish it around.
When the displayed number stops changing (should settle around 700, but it can vary), once the number stops changing, go on to the 10 solution and do the same thing. It should settle at around 1000. Once it stops changing, finish the calibration and you’re good.

If that ph probe was dry for any length of time, it's more than likely trash. Buy a new probe.

As you can see, I've bought a few. I'm running two apex's on two different tanks...

I’ve tried it, it won’t go passed the 10pH and only reads 738 during 10pH calibration. It runs out of time and errors at the end

Didn't I say the same exact thing a few post above, lol...
Lol, happens to me all the time. Nobody reads anymore. :)

1) do a manual calibration. If you don't know how to do it we can help you through those steps. Make sure you dry it before the seven pH mindset and d i after and dry it off before the 10 pH.
2) if it doesn't pass manual calibration, the probe is most likely junk.
3) any ph probe will work with Apex as long as it has the bayonet connector. just want to use a double Junction not the single Junction for reliability purposes.

I actually take offense to that, because I find the same thing happening all the time.

Nope I read all the thread before I respond. Sometimes posts get lost, and are not seen. Sometimes it needs to be said over and over for some to get it.
