You can, but most likely the regular pharmacy will need to source it from a compounding pharmacy. Expect to pay anywhere from $2-6 per gram going that route.

The better option is to have your vet write a Rx and send it to these people: http://www.diamondbackdrugs.com

I don't think I've ever paid over $2/gram buying from them.

The SDS states their CP is >98% pure: http://datasheets.scbt.com/sds/aghs/en/sc-205629.pdf

Pharmaceutical grade CP is guaranteed 99-99.5% pure. Anything less than that may fail to eradicate all the parasites. This may seem like a fine little point, but since there is no practical test kit available for Chloroquine the details matter greatly for dosing purposes.

Maybe Humblefish can chime in, but it appears to be 99.5 pure. The best part is no prescription needed.

@flfireman1 Did they say where they are obtaining their CP from? And do they test each & every batch they receive?

Sorry if I sound skeptical, but the "ebay seller" also has a Certificate of Analysis which states his CP is 99% pure.

From what I understand they test new batches. I would understand being skeptical but this appears to be a large chemical company
