Need help for torch coral

It’s 10gal. I want to buy a big one at least 30 gal when I plan to set up a saltwater tank but my gf was stare at me. I can imagine how my life will changed for the next couple days if I carry a big tank back home.

If the light you have now doesn't make the corals reach too much or just slowly die off then I'd say keep it. I have a A80 tuna blue nano kessil, which are pretty cheap lighting wise, over a 5 gallon and at one point it was over a 10 and it did well. I really like the shimmer kessils have.
