Need help identifying disease

Also in the video... I’m not entirely convinced he’s scratching, more than taking offense to the other fish in the glass [emoji12] Though, you mentioned the clowns were scratching too... just my observation based on the video of the gramma alone.

Does the gramma do this at the glass only, or also on sand, rocks, etc?

How are all the small spots on the gramma? Those look like possible velvet to me. Curious how that’s progressed or not?

I agree. If not for the reflection that’s similar to flashing.

I had seen her do it a few times on the other side of the tank too, but she was partially behind the rock when she was doing it. From where I was sitting it looked like she may have been brushing up against the rock. She quit doing it when I moved to get a better angle. I've seen her do it a number of times against the sand prior to the original Prazi dose.

I really haven't noticed any spots on her since the original pictures. But now that you have mentioned Velvet, she has been extremely reclusive today. My wife said she was out this morning before I got up, but I have only seen her leave her hole in the rock a couple times today. She can be very bashful, but that is unusual for her.

I put carbon back in the HOB after 36 hours and managed to catch the Gramma for a FW dip about 48 hours after the second dose of Prazi. I didn't notice anything falling off of her while she was in the dip, but there is some debris in the bucket. I am thinking it is just debris from the net I used to get her out of the dip.

Other than the scratching some scratching on rock targeted at her gills, she was very active and ate well. I am not convince I saw flukes in the FW dip, so I am thinking about waiting a few days to see if the scratching continues. Anyone have any better suggestions or see anything that looks like flukes in these pictures?

Thanks for all the guidance so far.

I am still seeing the gramma scratch on rocks occasionally, and saw one of the clowns rubbing its gill area on the thermometer today. I didn't see any flukes in another FW dip of the gramma. If the scratching continues, should I assume it is ick and move the fish to a QT and treat with Copper Power?

Have you seen any more white spots? If so do they seem to show up and then dissappear pretty quickly? Also do you notice any rapid breathing ? @ngoodermuth @4FordFamily @HotRocks

Never on the clowns, but maybe occasionally on the gramma. It is hard to tell since it doesn't spend a lot of time at the front of the tank when I am observing. The gramma is eating better than ever after two FW dips. The clowns eat less and less aggressively than when we first got them.

I was in and out of town a few times, so I put off the QT process. The Gramma scratched occasionally, but other wise seemed fine. Came home to find the hermits and cleaner shrimp having a Gramma feast. The rest of the tank inhabitants are fine. It had obviously been dead for awhile and picked at so I could not identify any spots or injury that may have caused its death.

I checked all the parameters, the only reading out of the norm was the PH. It normally runs 7.8-7.9 depending on when I check it, but it is 8.2 today. I was suspecting the tank has Ich because I never saw flukes in FW dips. The only other difference in the tank has been a dusting of brownish algae on the glass, sand, ricks, etc the past week or so. It does not disappear when the lights are off, and blows off the rocks and sand easy enough with a turkey baster, but there are white filmy that blow off the rock too.

My thoughts are feeding changes, due to the automatic feeder, and Ph changes stressed it out and it succumbed to Ich.

My plan is to move the two clown fish to the QT and start ramping up Copper Power to 2.0 for 14 days, then switch to a clean QT and observe, but I never seen spots on them and have rarely seen scratching from them. What level should I start the Copper Power at? Any suggestions for additional baths as part of the treatment/QT process?
