Its hard to take a full tank shot. I’ll try ;-)

Apologize for the “******” iPad, bluish color.... Its “sundown” here in Denmark at this time.... lol

The purple color on the bottom at the right, is coaraline algea on the bare bottom.

The main problems are that you can see that the rocks don't blend well into each other and are too dispersed through the tank.

I would try to create more solid looking structures and open spaces.

Either 2 or 3 structures. From left to right, one medium, one small and one big.

Thx. I will consider that :).

Here's a link to a YouTube video of the tank. Apologies for the shaking and out of focus camera man.

Remember that the tank only is 50 cm deep.

Also.... remember the tank is still maturing I’m gonna fill it up whit “easy” sps corals

You have rock everywhere and that makes that tank seem small for its content. If you create denser areas and open areas, leaving some space free near the side glasses, it will look more interesting.

On the other hand, I am sure the fish like it as it is :)

Thanks. It makes sense when you explain it like that, I’ll try and fittel the rocks a little and make some “open space” in the left end. Your right ‘bout the fish’ I guess and that’s one of my aims, to make the fish feel comfortable, and, so the all have a “cave” to sleep in, to minimize fights and stress.

I suck at this. So please be very specific with feedback.

I have approximately 14” front to back to work with due to an internal coast to coast overflow that is 4” deep. I would like to keep things under 20” high but if I have to go higher I can. My light (6x80W t5) sits 12” over the water surface.

This is what I came up with on my first try. Attaching the picture of the rocks and the preliminary scape. I have zero. Maybe less than zero creative ability. Mortaring the rocks together isn’t an option.

You can see the blue chalk outline which is 2” off the glass all the way around. Tank dimensions are 60x18x26

What I would do is switch the two rocks in blue around. This will give you a little more real estate and make your rock work look a little less vertical.

Next I would put one of the rocks from the pile on the right in the red to smooth out that transition a little.

Play around with the angles of the rocks you're moving a bit to make some more front to back room to help add some depth.

Otherwise I think it looks good.

Updated. Not really liking the left pile at the moment.

Setup for a 60 Gallon Cube, followed a little bit a the 3 Island idea and meshed it into one... I think I should adjust the height of the 2 front towers. Also, would you use rod to secure?

The only thing I would change is to take out the top rock in the front right of the first picture.

Remove the top rock making the arch on the left structure. That would make it look like 2 structures close together. Looks really cool in my minds eye. Nice work.

Thank you, will give it a shot this weekend when I do a water change on the curing pail they are in!

You have rocks of different types there. Try to put similar ones right next to each other to make the whole structure look more cohesive.

Just get the two structures a bit closer to each other and away from the side glasses.

I am having issues duplicating it. Can’t even get close....growing frustrated. I have one big rock that is a pain in the ****

So hit it with a hammer until its smaller
