Found a small puddle by my sump today. I'm afraid it's coming from the sump. It's a 125g glass aquarium sitting on a concrete floor and upon closer inspection I see a small gap I did not realize was there when I first set it up. It's in the middle of where the tank sits on the floor. The corners are flat on the ground but there is a gap in the middle.
I obviously need to put something underneath it to level the pressure, so I'm going to drain it and run to the hardware store. Should I use 1/2" plywood underneath? Or is some kind of foam board better? Since it's a glass aqueon tank sitting on a concrete floor rather than a stand I didn't know which to use. Help quick please, and thank you!!
edit: now thinking about it, do I need a new sump? has the damage already been done? I soaked up the small puddle with a towel, it hasn't come back so it must be a slow leak somewhere? I triple checked, it's not coming from oversplash from my ATS or anything else like that.
