Doesn't matter what type. Lets see just how mnay different styles we have out there. Its 45g with a 40w power compact light overhead.
Heres mine. No baffles just egg crate to keep the Cheato, Caulerpa, Halameda out of the return area.

Here's mine. 38 gallon under a 75 gallon tank. Only a few weeks old, still cycling.

Here is mine 36"L x 15"w x 13"T fits under my 125

Built it out of 1/4 inch acrylic. I love it easy to work around and plenty of room I wanted the biggest sump I could get under the stand yet have room for my 2 external reeflo pumps I was within a inch of having to start making custom plumbing parts

Here is mine for my 20g:

10g standard petco tank with 3 baffles made from acrylic bought from home depot. The entire thing cost about $20 to build. There is a TON of stuff under the tank though

This is a 20 gallon long I set up for underneath my 72 bowfront. It has the intake compartment where I will have a phosban and protein skimmer then a baffle then my refugium then the return where I put a mag 7. Refugium comes out to about 8 gallons an the last baffle is 4 inches high were I'm gonna put miracle mud. Upgraded this from a wet dry sump with bio balls
