Ive been going back and forth with issues. Things recede, bleach or just die. I have a scoly thats receding. I had an 8 head torch that just went overnight. Two of the 5 trachy/wellsy's I have do not inflate. Darwin favia isn't opening anymore. All placed on the bottom. I also have a Phoenix monti thats now starting to die off or bleach at the edges. I do weekly water changes. My light schedule is ramp up at 1PM, blues until 230, full until 6, blues until 11. Ive had the same light schedule for about a year now. The thing is, I had to take all my fish out at the end of the summer because of velvet. During that time, everything was doing great. All growing, inflated, etc. A few weeks after the fish go back, things look crappy.

Parameters:
ALK. 8.3
CAL. 420
PHO. .08 (ish)
Nitrate 10
Salinity 1.24
MAG 1400 (ish)

I would wait until you can get a shot of it with the whites on

I snapped a couple real quick. Zoas , mushrooms and even SPS seem good. I even have an Indo elegance now for 4 months. Its just very strange.

Just found your thread! Double check your salinity. 1.024 is on the lower end of my comfort level and if your refractometer is off, that might be the issue. Check pH also.

I calibrate each time I use it. I just got it a few months ago. My previous one failed. It was reading 1.025, but I came to find out it was actually 1.019.

The last two photos of lps look like they have gone brown. So either infection, chemical warefare or to much light.

I have my lights (three radions) set at 50% max intensity. Should I lower it? Im running Ecotech Coral Lab LPS program. I just lowered the intensity from 100% to 50%.

Do you have 35ppt solution to confirm it? A calibration doesn't always do it. Also check the TDS of your RO water after checking the pH.

Since you have already lowered the intensity I would leave it as is, for now anyway. When did you change the settings from 100%?
