If it is an API nitrate test, you can use it to test for nitrites. It won't be accurate but since you are looking for a zero test reading it would work.Unfortunately I do not have a nitrite kit anymore. I just test nitrates :/.
I would be more worried about oil/gas/pesticide fumes getting in than gasses escaping. At least that would be a concern if your garage is anything like mine.I usually leave a crack to let the gases escape out
Lol. A lot of folks done clean it at all.I mix everything in my apartment haha.. and I use no candles, air fresheners, and clean everything pretty much with vinegar water
Yep. That’s cool. I wouldn’t use it for mixing containers or atos.I was told to use vinegar water to clean the outside of the tank with.
So today looks a little less cloudy “calmed nerves” I got 10 gallons here mixed up... I usually change water on sundays. How do you recommended I store it ? I got a pump in there stirring it. Last time I let it go for two days with a pump it built up like a brownish bubbly film almost. And I tossed it. Should I just cover the barrel with no circulation???
