Need to add a fish?

The tank size makes it worse.
Tangs generally compete and you have to be careful of which tang you pair with which other tang. That combination would likely work if you had a much larger tank. At least 100 gal and 6ft long. You could maybe keep the yellow if you got a 5 foot tank but for two I would add the extra area,

Please do not add another tang to this tank and if possible re-home the yellow tang. Then you can get maybe a really pretty wrasse. Many are colorful and quite fun. Yellow Corris wrasse would replace the splash of yellow from the tang.
I would love to have a wrasse some day but aren't they known for carrying diseases more then other species? I don't have a quarantine tank.

Is there a difference between a yellow and gold Assessor basslett

I Googled both names and found "Assessor flavissimus" in the description.

My Yellow Assessor came from ORA and from time to time they also have the Randall's and the Blue Assessors available.

i wouldn't add a wrasse with a sixline already established

they're known to be typhoid marys because they can carry diseases without being effected due to their thick slime coat. lots of wrasses are quite hardy, species dependent of course
