how did you check stray voltage? its very difficult to detect...

did you switch salts?
did you switch or add any additives?
what do you feed?

oh if colors are getting lighter you may want to actually increase nitrates to detectable levels but under 5 ppm

What type of lighting are you using, how is your par, how long do you run your lights for, have you switched light source?

Seachem reef salt
No new additives
I feed over 15 different foods i have large angels tangs pigmy angels butterflies and wrasses
Lights 4 250 radiums 2 vho and blue leds
I also run a ground probe

Only thing new is cal reactor

whats the ph of the efflo out of the cal. reactor? is it a dual chamber reactor? also looks like you may have algae issue, perhaps dyno.

What u see on the glass is air bubbles , My tank is a cube so one side a back I
Never clean when I getvair bubblesvthe stick on those areas.

My ph probe is in the reactor sets around 6.73-as high as 6.87 never drops below 6.5

Wuz up Dwyane water seems to be ok nothing testing out of the ordinary. Really pointing toward the reactor

Hey, just trying to help... air bubbles could be an indication of an algae bloom... I hear you on the Cla. reactor but I need to know what the efflo. coming out of reactor reads not whats inside. It would also help if you tell us if its a dual chamber or single. I'm looking at your reactor that may be the issue for you. but you have to test in order to eliminate possibilities. If you want take your secondary ph probe... get a cup full of efflo and put the ph probe into the cup. It will tell you what the ph is of the efflo being delivered to the main tank. If you don't have dual chambers than I would suggest you get one added on if the efflo is anything less than ph 8.0 or above.

Again just trying to help.

sorry I just read that its a large single chamber... definately consider testing the efflo. I suspect that the efflo coming out into your tank is way lower than should be. I would guess ph in low 7.2-7.3 with the numbers you indicated in the chamber. a second chamber will further reduce the co2 and further raise your ph of the efflo. If your efflo is lower than your tank PH it will drive ph in the tank down. The other thing you could do is use kalkwasser in your top off which would have the effect of raising the ph. fresh air to the protien skimmer from an outdoor source is always good too if the co2 levels are elevated in the room where the tank is at.
