I have a single red LED discretely fitted into the front of my cabinet. Depending upon the alarm status i use this or email or audio (or a combo).

It's simply plugged into the plug bar, nothing more.

The original plan was to have 3 LEDs

Green = all ok
Orange = minor alarm
Red = get the mop and bucket out

I never got passed the red one.

While you cannot use the 1Link ports to control anything other than a DOS, WAV and Trident. The 1Link MODULE includes 2 DC24 ports that are controllable. That is what @Jordan Prather is mentioning, not the 1Link ports themselves.

I was told by Neptune (on their forum) that one cannot use 1-Link as power outlet.

Yes, and there are 2 x controllable 24V ports on each EB832.

Thank you guys for the help. I wasnt completely sure and dont want to give people the wrong info so I really appreciate it. I love that people are actually interested in this and would like to know if anyone does go through with it. I actually had mine go off the other day after the wrong tile was switched on and my heater was set to the on position. Tank got to 78.5° F and light came on. Really saved me I dont know if I could have rebounded after that stupid of a mistake.

Funny, I did a similar traffic light on my tank. Green LED = Ok; Amber = minor alarm (like doser empty); Red = potential major problem (temp low, water on floor, flow stopped).

If you have radion lights and a WXM, you can program them to do this.

Ok once again I have to thank you guys for liking my idea i think it's amazing how many people have tried it or have considered it. Now my question for you guys as my buddy keeps trying to talk me into doing it. Do you think it would be worth my time to make these and sell them for the non diy guys? I would have them soldered and shrink wrapped with instructions for them to be plug and play.
