Neptune Sky Discontinued?

I guess I'm not really shocked, just disappointed that it took so long for them to acknowledge. I doubt the decision was just made prior to last weekend. As a long time loyal and satisfied Neptune customer I expected more than silence from them given the rumors about these products that have been around for the last couple of years.

Yeah the lack of transparency was a let down. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Neptune gear and support has been great in my experience but I’ve needed warranty replacement wav pumps for two years now. Two years ago I was told they needed a part to get manufacturing going again and was told to buy mp40s at full price. Last year, same thing…. Still waiting for that part to get manufacturing going again. A couple months ago, they told me to check back in a month (they actually did have the starter kit with two pumps and a 1link available for a couple days and ran out, but no singles or warranty replacements)….a month later…. We understand if you can’t wait any longer (only been 2 years, this was just recently and still the waiting for the part excuse was used) and offered 15% off Nero 7 pumps which I declined. I got a couple jebao gyres just to hold me over as they were cheap as dirt and I actually like them so far. I commented years ago how I couldn’t see the group buying any more pumps from sicce (wav) when they owned ecotech (and now ai) and didn’t really believe the whole waiting on a part excuse. I also gave up on them offering a brick less, 1link version of mp series pumps. Seems like that would be a no brainier.

Design change. At some point the controller will be updated, or should, and interoperability will be factored into the design. If for some reason they do not have that on the roadmap then they can at least enforce connectivity through Neptune's IOTA.

Kessil and Sicce have integrated with Neptune's controller with this method and it is a huge quality of life improvement for the hobbyist. At least in my experience. It may not reduce some of the drivers or be as pretty as a solution but at least control from a single app would be possible.

Good to hear from you - hope you are well.
I’ve been annoyed that the MXM can’t control the Versa pumps… I travel a lot for work and Mobius is just Bluetooth so I can’t control those when I’m away. I have to have someone do it from the iPad by the sump. Hopefully it all gets integrated and is controllable through Fusion.
