I am getting to the point of binning this thing.

Does anyone have any tips on working with you their support? I have tried the factor reset and it just seems to not work. Which is terrible because I want this to work badly.

I have three Nero 5s, what’s wrong?
 
Is it just not coming back on? The blades can become jammed if it falls off or is taken off the magnet when running. This has happened to my 3s a few times because ill use them to blow out my rocks before I do a waterchange. While its unplugged Take the guard off and make sure the blade spins freely, then replace guard and place back in tank. Before you plug back in hold the button on the controller down and put the plug back in, keep the button pressed down, a green light will begin flashing release the button when the flashing green light turns red. This has fixed any issues with mine every time.

Oh weird this has never happened to me, but have you tried calling or emailing their support? They usually respond quickly
 
If I unplug mine they randomly won’t come back on sometimes without a lot of unplugging and trying again. I would r ever use them for anything ‘mission critical, too unreliable, but I like the formfactor.

It was working with the app at one point but it was extremely flakey as in disconnecting and not saving settings.
 
If anyone cares I just got it connected by clearing the app cache, doing a factory reset and the finally removing power and plugging it back in.


Now when I enable pumps on, it will do two rotations then just stop. I'm giving it a vinegar bath and if that doesn't work?

Soft Reset: The soft reset will power cycle the Nero but not remove any programmed settings.
Steps:
  1. Unplug Nero controller from power for 30 seconds
  2. Plug back into power
Connected Reset: The connected reset power cycles the Nero and clears any programmed settings but retains a connection to myAI.
Steps:
  1. Unplug Nero controller from power for 30 seconds
  2. With power still disconnected, press and hold the controller button
  3. Reconnect power, continue holding the controller button
  4. Release the button as soon as indicator begins flashing green

Can anyone confirm the voltage/amps on the power adapter? I'm wondering if maybe I'm using the wrong one.
 
Okay guys, I'm an idiot, I had the wrong power adapter plugged in. It will work on 12v in manual mode but not programed mode.

When I talked to the support team they told me I can’t have my ai prime and Nero 5 connected at the same time on the app. I was shocked and disappointed.
 
Nope never reached out to support. I did a quick search after it happened the first time and found that trick and have used it since.
Are you able to connect more than one ai device on your tank, support told me I can’t connect the ai prime and Nero 5 to the same tank on the app. So right now my app is only connected to the ai prime

Thats wierd because I actually have my Nero and Hydra 26 units on same app. To make changes, simply unplug the other component until changes are made and plug back in

Can you help me I tried that, then after trying everything I called support and they told me it’s not possible -.-

I have 2 Nero 3s connected currently but i run a xr15 g5 for lighting so thats on mobius.

Strange. I have Nero-3 and Prime both connected on the app.
