New 400G in the works PIC INTENSE!!

Definitely want to see this finished product! I have always wondered how a plywood tank would work, so keep it coming!

Well I finally got moving on this project after many MANY personal and financial issues. Finally got some funding together and started plumbing the tank. I purchased an OM 4 way to use on 4 of the 8 CL returns, installed all of the bulkheads and each of those with either a true union-ball valve, or a union and ball valve together. I also arracnged to purchase what I consider to be a very nice skimmer for me. I am hoping and praying that I will be able to get this thing running by end of year.

Its funny that it has been over 2 years since I started this, and the water from the initial water test dried up literally 2 days ago. It is absolutely astonishing how much dust was collected in that water.

I am also working on a lighting rack to hang all of the lights on that I will be able to raise all at once to access the tank. Will be using 4 x 250W MH and 4 or 8 48" VHO for actinic supplementation.

Plans for return lines from the CL will be to come off the pump into a split return line. 1 line going to the OM 4way, and 1 to be split to 4 other returns with constant flow. Some of these will be further divided inside the tank. sump return will likely be an old mag 18 for now returning to 1 or 2 lines inside the tank.
