Good advice here, get a couple Evo pumps and the Hydor Smart Wave and you'll be set...until you buy MP40s, anyway...

Looks nice Kayler! Don't forget about Tunze pumps. I just switched from mp40 to Tunze and couldn't be happier. You can pick up controllable ones used for a good price. Cheaper than ecotechs.

I have always liked Tunze products and their support. For one, the native control support with an apex (no additional modules needed). I have been studying the flow of the patterns of the new 6095 and they are amazing. Hence why I wanted to with ours at the swap (and did

). My 6095's are silent! No pump rev'ing to be heard. And they are very small, since they are a "nano stream". This allows me in my situation to place them in the rear of the tank and not sticking out the side on a viewing pane as most do with the vortech's. My flow is AMAZING and fully controlable with my apex.
