Yes exactly. I went from being w new comer at the lfs to a daily customer and they all know me now lol and sometimes I just go in there to look around and talk

Yea I need somebody to have control over my bank account because I can not stop lol. It's addicting but it's so satisfying at the same time and I love watching something grow and become healthy knowing I gave it the best life and foods and all ya know.

I can’t help myself so I literally have to stay away from LFS. Only go when I absolutely have to but always end up coming home with new toys and items, living and mechanical. Careful with your fish impulse buys (brought a dirty back home once, and had to bring it back the next day as it was a terror) but as far as corals go - if you have good lights and flow, be as impulsive as you want. Some can sting each other if they’re too close, but if u have big tank then problem solved. Have you thought about an anemone??

lol that sounds like me!!!! Omg ahahaha have a few drinks and head to the lfs and end up always leaving with either a new coral or new fish for my freshwater tank or salt lol

Ate a thc edible then went to the store and bought the most expensive coral I have ever bought. I justified it because I had been watching it for 9 months waiting for the price to drop from the original $900. I asked how much with cash and no receipt and got it for $480. I didn't feel like a great deal the next day but it us a very nice peice and I still had money to pay bills so no regrets

Let's see a pic of the coral!! I have been eyeing a rainbow BTA at LFS for about 2 months. I went yesterday and asked where it was, and the guy was like "oh it must be under this one" and it was literally being swallowed by a huge green BTA, I saved it's life so I feel like I should get a discount. They want $120 for it, I know I can find one cheaper. Had a couple people tell me they would meet me to exchange but haven't heard back from them But maaaaaaaaaaan do they know how bad I want it, they can smell it on me when I walk in to the store.

If it's still there the next time I go, it will be pretty hard for me to not purchase it.

Here is a $480 meat coral on the far left. It looks better in person and is about 10 inches accross when fully inflated. I find cash with no receipt does help with prices if you can talk to the owner of the store.

Hahahahaha hey, we all have our guilty pleasures. It what makes us, us. Tell her that there is probably 0.0001% of the world population who are able to keep one of those as a pet. She will feel special

Yup I definitely now make sure I don't have a few drinks or a few times before I go to LFS cause i always spend money it's like going to grocery store after smoking lol!! You buy all the dam good cause you have the munchies then get home and realize half of it won't fit in the freezer or fridge and wife is yelling at you because most of it is snacks and junk food ahahahahaahhaah!!!! Gotta love this hobby! Whatever I love my fishes and corals!
