Also, my experience taught me to really respect this hobby, and to listen to those who have done this for a while. There is SO MUCH to learn. My tank husbandry improved because of that experience. But keep in mind that this is a hobby, and have fun with this. Once you have a thriving, mature tank, it's something to be proud of. It's your unique little world [emoji16]

yes because over here we have 2 different type. one is Foxface Rabbitfish which will grow very big. but mine won't grow that big. max 3 inch. it's a small version or somewhat foxface breed type

Lfs lied to you again . There’s no foxface that only grown to be 3inches

best advice is do not rush anything. I'm on 6 months with just a couple fish. did the whole qt thing and one fish died and the next thing I knew Flukes. tried everything as soon as I figured out it was flukes but lost all my fish. it's been about 4 weeks now. I actually plan on going fallow for 8 weeks to be safe. and have all qts dismantled and drained. washed with bleached solution and sitting in the hot sun. just to kill anything that might still be there. and now getting ready to refill them and and get a couple clowns to qt. even though I lost all my fish. Nothing is lost I learned a lesson or 2 on how I should of QT the fish first off and how to qt and med them if they have flukes.

For flukes all you need to do is a fresh water dip for 5 min., make sure temp. and PH match tank and aerate.

I'm sorry to say, anemone's need a established tank of 1 year or older. They also require the correct lighting, what type of fixture do you have.

+1 on lights! They need a nice amount of light- stock fixtures very rarley work for anything for then softies.

@TangingOut I think I'm gonna try a different LFS. After reading all these comments I;m little bit worried now. I think they just wanted to sell their stuff.

@Mr. Limpid they have 100's of live anemone in their store and then said after 2-3 weeks I can add 1 anemone. Now I'm stuck. They won't take it back and I'm also not sure how he is going to settle down. Right now he is settled in between a rock but not inflating. I'm not a very experienced person so I'll just attach my light pic, can you check it out and let me know if it's good enough?

See, with this i disagree with. I mean, its a personal choice and gamble. Im sure waiting a year would be much more safe, but ive put them in at 2 months with absolutely no issues. Just check water.

As Nyke73 said, go to https://m.liveaquaria.com/. It's a great site for information on fish, which includes pictures, minimum tank sizes, etc. You can use that information to plan ahead. I also had a bad experience with a LFS. I ended up overstocking, way too fast, and crashed my tank losing over $600 in fish. I went Fallow for 8 weeks, and 3 years later, have a healthy mixed reef, and haven't lost a fish since [emoji16]
