No one is yelling, THIS WOULD BE YELLING. Everyone is giving very good advise. The problem is the tank is 3 weeks old and it is stocked as if it been over a year. Sam do you own any test kits? If so please test your water and post the results. Then people on the site can give you more accurate information on what to do to lower the issues.

First of all, thank you all for your valuable comments/advises. I really really appreciate it and I;m really happy to see that a lot of experienced members willing to help and guide me Let me answer those questions one by one..

1) @cracker - What are You feeding the Fox fish? these guys need algae & lots of it . maybe Nori sheets? Is their a way to return some fish & anemone?

I'm feeding all my fish Reefmax premium marine fish pellet (0.5mm). See attached screenshot. I don't think the place I bought will accept any returns

2) @Lasse - a special thank you! I really appreciate your comments and I will follow your advise. You've given me a lot of info and I'm quite new to this, so i'm gonna do a lot of online research

3) @Brew12 - thank you, I will see if I can get macro algae

4) @BestMomEver - Thank you for those advises. I'm really sad coz I couldn't save my foxface. Within 24hrs it collapsed and I even tried isolating him (using a breeding tank attachment), but I failed

5) @Mr. Limpid - Yes, I have a KH test kit. So I've been doing tests daily and my test results are within the range of 7-8 which i guess is acceptable

Just wanted to add something more.. The aquarium people helped me a lot choosing all these things. They also asked me to buy this 6 minerals and a super bacteria. They asked me to add 1 small spoon of each every week. I'm going to attach that screenshots as well.

One thing I know for sure, I need to take things real slow. The aquarium people gave me already cycled water. That means, I buy the salt water from them and within next 2-3 hours I can let my fish inside and weekly need to add those minerals. Also every 2 weeks they asked me to do 25% water change. I've been maintaining the evaporated water level by adding fresh (mineral/bottled) water ever 2-3 days.

The aquarium store sold you their dirty water? The sand bed and rock are what needs to mature. They are your primary filtration. The beneficial bacteria live on surfaces, not suspended in the water.

That's alright, It's actually my fault, didn;t research properly.

Please don't get things mixed up. I never said it's "dirty water". They cycle water in big tanks. So lets say if you want to setup a nano tank you can buy everything from them and within 2-3 hours you can have your fully functional marine tank with live stocks.

The water they give us is not dirty water, it's a purified/cycled salt water which you can use immediately.

I dont think they are after my money, because they also advised not to rush and get all the things at once. I don't blame them, ultimately they would want to sell their stuff but they are quite helpful.

The best advise I can give is to watch the BRS 52 weeks of reefing YouTube series. Takes you through step one to the more advanced stuff, I started a little over a year ago and while I love my LFS the amount of knowledge they have about maintaining an optimal Reef is very minimal

As for test kits you need the basic three, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. I also suggest getting refractometer, the swing arm type are not worth the plastic they are made from.

best advice is do not rush anything. I'm on 6 months with just a couple fish. did the whole qt thing and one fish died and the next thing I knew Flukes. tried everything as soon as I figured out it was flukes but lost all my fish. it's been about 4 weeks now. I actually plan on going fallow for 8 weeks to be safe. and have all qts dismantled and drained. washed with bleached solution and sitting in the hot sun. just to kill anything that might still be there. and now getting ready to refill them and and get a couple clowns to qt. even though I lost all my fish. Nothing is lost I learned a lesson or 2 on how I should of QT the fish first off and how to qt and med them if they have flukes.

Hey friend! Welcome to R2R! My advice to you, would be going with another store. The water is not the thing thing will complete the cycle. The sand and rock need to cycle. It takes a while for their bacteria to figure itself out, not the waters. So just going with RODI water is what you should go with for now. How i cycle my tanks is basically leave everything alone, add fish slowly(although i sometimes cannot help myself, and add them a little quicker than i probably should...), do water changes once every 2 weeks, and get a clean up crew that handle the size of the tank. Oh and of course, test kits. If you dont have a test kid, theres a couple i can recommend off of amazon. I know this hobby can be incredibly exciting. I know EXACTLY how ya feel! You will make mistakes, and impulse control will get the best of you sometimes. This happened to me when I bought a cheap Koran angelfish, and it killed EVERYTHING in my tank. What i do when looking at a new fish you're interested in, just look up the synopsis on live aquaria. Good luck with all of this, and please feel free to let me know if you have any questions!! yes because over here we have 2 different type. one is Foxface Rabbitfish which will grow very big. but mine won't grow that big. max 3 inch. it's a small version or somewhat foxface breed type

Your fish store is selling you lies. I don't want to sound harsh, but I think it's what you need right now. We were all newbs once and made our share of mistakes. You commented that you won't be adding more, but you really should be looking to remove some fish. I counted 5 and that's way too many for a 15 gallon tank. 2 max.

As Nyke73 said, go to https://m.liveaquaria.com/. It's a great site for information on fish, which includes pictures, minimum tank sizes, etc. You can use that information to plan ahead. I also had a bad experience with a LFS. I ended up overstocking, way too fast, and crashed my tank losing over $600 in fish. I went Fallow for 8 weeks, and 3 years later, have a healthy mixed reef, and haven't lost a fish since [emoji16]
