Also, my tank has been very clear. Last couple days it has gotten cloudy. Any ideas?

Do you think it has anything to do with all the brown algae that's growing on the rock? That's new and only seems to be on surfaces facing light

it's diatoms. Normal part of cycling a tank.
Keep walking past the tank, keep you hands out of it, and practice patience. You will see over the next week-ish the bloom expand then contract. Once contracted do a partial water change and you should be ready to add inhabitants.
The most success I've had with a new tank was with all dead sand and rock. You minimize hitchikers and unwanted parasites, offset is it takes longer to establish and mature. Adding a seed rock or sand from another tank will shorten the wait, but you may end up with some undesirables from the host tank.
The best tip I ever heard was 'Nothing that happens fast is good'. Bear this in mind and while you are waiting on your tank to mature, set up a quarantine tank to keep your new purchases in. Quarantine tanks should cycle, but you can add the bacteria supplement and perform regular water changes to offset and prevent any spikes in ammonia.

To cycle my tank, I used bio-spira and light ghost feedings every other day and my tank had great coraline growth after a month and a half

So now my clowns appear to be nesting in the sand. Is that what they do?

Just regular clowns. Ya know, the 20.00 ones. They have taken a 4" area and both keep skimming over it. Has been dug down 3/4". Interesting

So I'm in Florida and some guy gave me coral he got while fishing. Is there anything special I have to do with it before putting it in my rock / fish tank?

Make sure you have sufficient light. And use gel super glue to attach it to a rock

I don't have a reef / coral tank. I'm just wanting to make it safe just for decoration Any suggestions?

I've been on vacation for 3 weeks. A nieghbor fed my fish. Come home to find everything covered with this chocolate looking stuff. Even my smallest clown has it on the top third of her body. What is this ????

Can you take a pic? It might be cyano but that is usually more reddish than brown. I do know I came home from a vacation to cyano once. Frequent water changes will get things back to normal if that is the problem.
