Hey @Big G - what's the difference been Selcon and Zoecon?

They are very similar, both high in vitamin rich proteins and fats. Zoecon however contains additional nutrients from sponges, a natural food for angels and some tangs. Great products.

Sounds awesome. I use Selcon , but the next thing i buy will be Zoecon. Thank you!

And since a picture is worth 1,000 words, I just took a photo of my Biota YT and compared it against a photo I took when I first put them into the tank.

I should have taken some photos when they first arrived but the first photo I have is after 20 days of QT, but in my memory they looked about the same after QT as they did when they arrived. All 3 were happily eating nori/live algae and frozen foods from the moment they arrived.

Taken May 25th, fish about 1.5" long:

I have a feeling that mine will look the same, which I didn't pay for a blemished fish. I feel like they should of never shipped a fish with HLLE.

I don't consider my CB YTs blemished, but I appreciate how you feel slighted by seeing a particular picture and then getting a different fish. My tank is mostly CB fish, and I appreciate that on the frontier of CB fish you are probably sacrificing coloration vs wild caught specimens. It isn't a big deal to me, but I understand if you are trying to have perfect YTs, captive bred probably isn't going to make that happen right now.

Though it is possible I just got 3 CB YTs from a "bad" batch, I just don't have enough data. But again, I want my YTs to eat algae, poop coral food and be healthy, and all 3 of mine meet those qualifications with flying colors.

It's not about getting a different fish, it's about a huge cavity missing on the head and sides of the fish. I now have responsibility to this fish that I wouldn't have bought if I had of seen it this way. I'm going to try to get a refund then try to give him the best possible home and name him Scarface

I just heard back from LA. They said they should of never sent it, and it was severe, and will cause permanent scarring. However, they wanted to refund me 50% since it was alive, and I said that was unacceptable, and they said it was fair enough and issued me a full refund.

I am probably going to keep it in QT and let it heal up then donate it to a friend or LFS. Thanks all for the input.
