Well seeing as how well the other corals have thrived, went a little bit bigger with these, will leave these in there now for a few week, 3 firefish and a tang in QT, will introduce them in a couple of weeks

Moved the Duncan out of a little bit of shade and also added 2 cleaner and a boxer shrimp, cleaner unfortunately caught him finishing off one on my blue legged hermit crabs, don’t know if that’s usual behaviour for them?

Tank is looking sharp! The sump setup and control hub is great, clean and organized. The rock work and lighting are real nice. Looks like you are off to a great start. Being new to the hobby myself, I have no input/advice to share. But plenty of encouragement! Keep posting updates of your progress.

Thank you, been running around a month now, had one round of algae, getting another little go around the past day, my alkalinity and magnesium are too low for my liking but trying to not chase numbers by buffering and then ruining something else.

He’s a lot happier now having been moved

had a little algae bloom, all corals still ok but definitely not as open as before. Also found a little starfish has appeared on my live rock

How much water do you guys use when feeding reef roids please? I went with just under the recommended dosage 3 days ago, resulted in the roller mat going mad and an algae bloom the morning after.

I just feed a pinch in front of a powerhead, it can bump your phos up.

Cataphilia loved the move
Dealing with an algae bloom and minimal ammonia surge unfortunately though

Algae bloom wise, I’ve been shifting the sand and used a toothbrush to take some off the rocks, assume that’s an ok idea?

Hi, got this algae for about 3 days now, nothing to worry about I hope?
