New guy here from southernNH

Sweet, another NH member ! ! Where you at? I'm in Raymond with a FOWLR 72 gal bow. Welcome and I am new as well ;)

Hey Fudsey, Welcome to R2R! You can find me swimming in the current of the Lebanon reef :)

Been there many times, mostly doing deliveries to the old mill building on mechanic street and to DHMC.

Yes, that's pretty darn close haha. Have you ever been to the West Lebanon Pet and Aquarium?

I may have years ago but not within the last few years. Unless I am thinking of someplace completely different. This was probably 20 years ago now...lol

It's a fancy store but the corals are always dying and the fish are always in QT. I go to Plymouth. He's really good with his tanks! Not as big but makes up for it in a big way. How is the petco in Concord and Gilford?

I don't use either of them, Hooksett is small but tanks look good, got my Pajamas from there and they are around 2 YO now. Manchester is larger but have had issues with their fish in the past. Bought a DOgface from there and he poisoned my tank and killed my old fish. Had a 17YO blue Damsel and a 5-6YO Marine betta that died. Shame on me for not using a QT, lesson learned. Fish Mike's in Manchester is decent and Mike is very helpful. Went to Jay's Aquatics in Salem yesterday and he has a very large selection of corals and was very helpful. I have heard on BostonReefersclub.org that he has had issues sometimes with hitchhikers. Someone said to dip anything from him but I don't know as I haven't bought any livestock from there. Bill's in Manchester seems a little dirty to me. I have been there twice and each time the tanks look like crap and the employee was sitting at the desk not working on anything. This is no way to keep a business. There is a small LFS in Raymond that I have had good luck with in the past and she will order me anything I might need or want, tanks are decent but only a few of them. Got my tang from her a year or two ago and he is doing great.

DON"T go to Aqua Addicts in Hooksett. The guy was rude and no help WHATSOEVER when I visited him at his old location in Salem. If you google the store there are 3 reviews and 2 of them are bad, 1 is mine lol.

Thanks, looks like I'm sticking to the Plymouth Aquarium :) Hoping to make some online purchases through R2R and the next NH frag swap that I've heard about. I don't want to do much more through saltwaterfish.com, but would like to give aquariumdepot.com a little business next. I've also met a cool guy in WRJ, VT that has made some awesome zoa frags for me. Picking them up this Sunday :)

8 frags, 2 of each, 4 polyps on each frag, except for the sunny d with 5. Left to right - sunny d, rasta, utter chaos, pink zipper.

Marinedepot.com and Bulkreefsupply.com are both good stores as well as LiveAquaria.com and Diversden

Oh and those frags look sweet. I only wish I had the $$ to go full reef right now :) maybe later but not now
