Welcome! I'm in the dfw area as well. There is definitely an active reef community in dfw, and a plethora of lfs to scope out.

It is a really fun journey designing your system, especially now with all the help in blogs like R2R and online posts from different people all over the world. It is almost overwhelming there is so much information out there. That is one of the reason I came here. Members are friendly, very helpful and you can bounce ideas around and get answers about just about everything. Then you take those opinions then make your own decision.

@Diesel and @143MPCo and have answered question of mine in the past, in fact the reef squad guy are really good about getting back with you if you use the @ before there names. @143MPCo even like to show off his skill with language

I'm going to start with drawings of tank set ups while I'm doing research on the compatibility of everything. Don't want to be "THAT guy" lol will definitely make a build thread for advice
