Starting to get an algae on the glass think it’s time to add the cuc anytime.

Picked up a cuc from best fish today. Most likely will need double this amount but this is a start. Acclimating them now.

It appears like I got a nice variety of everything! Tons of nice little snails and crabs. Also got 4 nice size turbo snails. Drip acclimating them now.

Did my first water change last night and re tested alk just now and I’m pleased with my results.

Here are other readings from the prior days and since I’ve set up the tanks. Alk is staying rock solid.

Fishies are all happy and eating like pigs! Copper is staying above 2.00ppm easily. Hopefully things continue to stay this well. 25 more days of copper.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Tested PO4 tonight and it’s slowly dropping. Will have to turn the doser on soon not having fish in the tanks make this a tad harder.

Hi @WIReefer great progress on your built. I have question about your QT process as far as adding copper. What type of copper did you use? How long did you wait before adding the copper treatment? How much dose did you add per day? Did you followed the instruction on the back of the bottle? and How long it take you to reach the therapeutic level of 2.0 - 2.25? The reason why I asked because I want to hear other Reefer ideas how they QT there fish to give an idea when I start mine by closer to mid June of this year. Thank You in advance! I appreciate your help and advice.

How much dose did you add per day? Did you followed the instruction on the back of the bottle? and How long it take you to reach the therapeutic level of 2.0 - 2.25? The reason why I asked because I want to hear other Reefer ideas how they QT there fish to give an idea when I start mine by closer to mid June of this year. Thank You in advance! Hi Jay, I am currently using copper power. I had the fish in the tank roughly 10 days before I added copper but that is because I recently moved into a new home and I knew the fish were okay have owned for a while. If I were to purchase a new fish from the store/online I would observe and make sure they are eating for about 3-4 days then start copper. I did follow the instructions on the back. My system water volume is roughly 56 gallons I started with a dose of 1.25fl I was aiming for 1.00ppm copper. Result in the first dose was 1.02ppm so fairly close. After initial dose I waited 24 hours to ramp up to therapeutic levels I dosed 0.25fl each day until desired amount (2.25-2.50). So I did a thing today. I have seen many of these setup and just love these tanks. This is my first nano.

Well it’s hard to admit it and I might as well let everyone know that is following my build. The lady and I called it quits last night we are sadly not together anymore. It stinks since I’ve just started this build and already have to take everything down. I will be moving everything into a climate controlled storage unit soon, will be storing most of my live rock in a brute container with heat and circulation so they stay live. Will be setting up this nano tank at temporary location were I will be staying until I get back on my feet. I will put a small chunk of my live rock in this nano and corals and fish. I shouldn’t have to sell anything which is nice. It’s a set back but things in life happen.
