Well got home today after being gone for a day and half and found aiptasia on the frag plug to my Digitata and in the middle of my new frag of Radioactive Dragon Eyes. I successfully removed it from frag plug as it had no where to hide. As for the Dragon Eyes frag I'm going to attempt to just create three smaller frags tommorow and hopefully not take the aiptasia with any of them.

Here are some new pics and I did a 2 gallon water change today, this past week I switched to the in tank media rack and I am using 3 chemipure blue nano packs in the lower 2 chambers, and I am using poly fill in top chamber. I am changing the poly fill daily and with my reduced photo period j now have a handle on the algae.

Well I picked up a koralia nano to tide over till i can afford an mp10, and I am already seeing an improvement in the polyp extension.

Well all params are good I am starting to see regular usage of kh, calcium, and magnesium. My red/orange monti ca LLP is showing lots of growth. Unfortunately one of the mystery acros did not survive but the vivid teicolor is doing great, the blue monti digitata has great polyp extension and is starting to regain its color from being shipped. Soon my larger hammer will be three heads instead of one as it has a new growth happening at sametime as its splitting, the smaller hammer is really starting to fill out, both acans are really enjoying increased flow which lets there polyps move alittle, and the last zoa that hadnt opened up since i got it is finally starting to peek out and once it does ill get some photos of it and cant wait for the zoa garden to fill out with all the varying colors. PS if anyone knows what the zoa or paly is in the 2 pics it would be appreciated as i cant find anything that looks like it online.

I hate when unfortunate events happen.

I lost a few pets myself due to that. I don't like aquarium net cover but it does seem a necessity. I have two tanks I still need to build one that keep procrastinating. may build one this long weekend.

I agree I actually have a top but it no longer fit after I got the koralia nano for more flow as the top fits snug and the cord for the koralia lofts the back roght corner up a half inch. So I let myself believe that the watchman is the only one who would jump and he could easily have done that through the gap, so I left the top off and after discovering that the yellow watchman was only a few inches from where i found the clown yesterday on the carpet i can only assume the two got into a fight and the clown chased the watchman out of the tank and followed it. I saw the watchman on the ground yesterday but thought it was a piece of funyon on the ground, I didn't start looking for it till i couldnt find it when i fed today. Lesson learned and top back on as soon as i discovered the clown yesterday.

After yesterdays losses i am posting pics of everything that is living and thriving, i also still have my pistol shrimp which never paired with my YWG and tons of pods so many pods that they are all over my glass even with the lights on.

Ive chosen to not replace either fish but stay with the single platinum clown and fill my tank with inverts instead.

Well my Scarlet reef Hermit moved homes so I had to get some more ceriths as it evicted the previous owner of the shell, while I was at it I picked up an Emerald Crab to get the gha away from things, the gha isnt out of control or anything but where it is growing it is trying to encroach on a couple of coral hence the crab plus I enjoy there behavior. My Vivid Tricolor took a turn for the worse this week no clue why especially as my other sps are not only doing fine they are growing. For some reason my salinity spiked to 1.027 yesterday thankfully any salinity spikes i know about with a glance as my Micromussa Hulk Lord lets me know about it. I think the salinity pike is why my Blue Hornet zoa is missing. Still finding aiptasia but as I do i am putting glue on them. Found away to get top on and not leave any gaps.the Hulk Lord is 5 heads instead of 3, purple death paly has grown a new polyp, and my pods are out of control they are everywhere on everything dag and night.

looks like a great little desktop peninsula. I really love the radioactive dragon eyes. i might have to keep an eye out for a frag of that for my tank. keep up the good stuff!

Desk to pennisulas are one of my favorites. I might start one in my office like this.
